Linux#

Compile Lemur#

$ ./configure --enable-distrib --enable-summarization \
    --enable-cluster --prefix=/opt/lemur \
    CC=gcc-4.1 CXX=g++-4.1
$ make
$ sudo make install

Compile Indri#

$ ./configure --prefix=/opt/lemur CC=gcc-4.1 CXX=g++-4.1
$ make
$ sudo make install

If you are having Antr problems, do a make clean, then a configure, then edit MakeDefns and set NEED_ANTLER=1 and then edit Makefile.app and remove -lantlr. That should fix it.

Notes#

If you have having problems with atomicity, make *sure* you specify CC and CXX to something less than gcc version 4.2
