Determine IP of host#

From the mac's shell, type

    ifconfig

You should probobly take the IP address of vmnet8.

Also, on the mac, make sure the folder is selected as shared.

In linux, add this to your /etc/fstab

# Mount mac folder
//ip.of.mac.host/folder /mnt/folder cifs credentials=/etc/mount_credentials,uid=user_you_want_to_be_on_host,gid=group_you_want_on_host,rw 0 0

Remount with

$ sudo mount -a
