How do I make all the channels in a file have the same volume?#

If you are recording a conversation, it is useful to have everyone speaking at the same volume.

Step 1#

• Plugin: JS: Event Horizon Limiter/Clipper
• Threshold: -10
• Ceiling: -15

Step 2#

• Plugin: VST: ReaComp (Cockos)
• Preset: Modern Vocal

Step 3#

Render each track to its own file

Step 4#

Normalize (common gain).

The waveforms on all the tracks should look similar now.
