Connect Motorola DSL Modem to WRT54G2

Why can't I access the internet after I connect my WRT54G2 to my Motorola DSL router?#

If you get AT&T DSL service, you will likely get a Motorola DSL modem. If you then attempt to use a Linksys WRT54G2 router, you are likely to be able to access the router's admin page at 192.168.1.1, but nothing else.

The solution is to set the local IP address of the router to 192.168.2.1.

  1. Go to http://192.168.1.1
